Designscape – challenged the industry to think differently about design

In August we welcomed thousands of visitors and suppliers from across the world, hosted over 45 speakers discussing thought-provoking topics, and had over 2000 video meeting requests sent. Here's a recap of when we brought the global design industry together this summer.

Retail

Day 1 of our programme examined physical spaces becoming experience driven, the consumer of the future, the progression of the everyday kitchen and the shop window as the ultimate storyteller.

12 August 2020
Residential

Day 2 focused on new criteria and considerations governing the design of the home, the evolving and uncomfortable notion of luxury, the emergence of modern primitive styles and the current state of the residential market.

13 August 2020
Hospitality

Day 3 hosted a line-up of talks around the alignment of sustainability and safety, AI’s impact on customer experiences, social responsibility in host environments and future proofing expansion and investment plans.
